A rare 1912 Rolls Royce - Silver Ghost was sold on T Monday for a record JNZ2.66 million at a classic car auction in London, reports NZPA-Reuter. " The double Pullman »• limousine, of which only u ';’ two were ever made, bears the hallmarks of a •I horse-drawn carriage design. It was bought at
Sothebys by an American | collector. The Rolls-Royce had , been expected to fetch $2.11 million and the price i paid was a record for that i particular model, say the , auctioneers. 1 The sale of 31 cars fetched more than $13.19 1 million.
