Environ to be delisted
Environ Conioration has become the first casualty of the Stock Exchange’s market surveil- > lance panel’s move to en--1 sure that listed companies i comply with financial reporting criteria. The Auckland-based rubbish disposal and recycling company would be suspended from Friday, December 15, be- . cause of its failure to supply an annual report or its latest financial posi- . tion, the panel said. , Environ, which was put in receivership last December, told the Stock Exchange that it was unable to comply with listing requirements on providing an annual report for the year ended March 31, Environ was among 19 companies named by the Stock Exchange’s panel on October 19 as having failed to supply such reports No indication had been given by the directors or receivers on when such a report could be expected, but quotations and trading in Environ’s shares would be suspended until such a report or financial announcement had been received, the panel said.
