Exciting selection in delicatessen
A superb delicatessen offering a wide range of cold meats, pates and salads is an exciting innovation at Countdown Northlands.
Mr Dave Wallace, the delicatessen manager, said that the staff of six will ensure that the quality and presentation of the food is unsurpassed.
“As well as the cold meats we will, have items
such as beer sticks and salami, and there will be up to 20 different salads,” he said. Salads will include summer vegetable, marinated vegetable, apple and celery, slimmers salad and tabouli and tomato along with the more regular varieties such as coleslaw and lettuce salads. Most salads are made daily on the premises to
ensure the best quality and freshness. Countdown has also installed the latest convection ovens to rotisserie cook chickens, both as whole birds and in portions. It is its intention to promote different lines within the delicatessen each week with plenty of bargains and incentives to whet the appetites of shoppers.
