Parking area extended
Shoppers at Countdown Northlands will not want for car-parking space after the complete revamp of the car park.
With the old building there was only enough space for 78 cars, but now there is room for 275. In the past, Countdown
made numerous applictions to expand onto the old Phoenix Hotel site but were unable to get planning permission. But,
after deciding to expand the present building almost to the boundry lines of three sides,' parking was able to be extended
