The research programme will involve the following: • interaction between different species of animals grazed together • grazing systems to minimise internal parasites for organic lamb production • nutritional requirements and grazing behaviour of alpaca and buffalo. Attributes considered essential for the position are: knowledge of farm management and experience in the handling of farm animals, collection and "analysis of final data. Technical experience with the operation of grazing management studies will be preferred. Qualifications: Either NZCS, Diploma in Field Technology or a Degree in Agricultural Science is essential.
