Evidence suppressed

PA Auckland Evidence against the Centrepoint director, Bert Potter, facing two drug charges, was suppressed yesterday at a depositions hearing in the North Shore District Court. Justices of the Peace Margaret Russell and Ray Scott suppressed names and evidence of civilian witnesses in the case, in which Potter, aged 64, faces charges of possessing LSD and Ecstasy with intent to supply. The Crown prosecutor, Mr Chris Morris, requested suppression of the names and evidence

Potter pleaded not guilty to both drug charges and has been remanded on bail to appear in the High Court at Auckland on December 14 for a trail date.
