The successful applicant will be expected to pur-' sue their own research interests In the study. Expertise In clinically-oriented Interviewing Is a prereqlslte. Applicants should have a higher degree in the social sciences and a demonstrated capacity for independent research. The initial appointment will be from January (or as soon thereafter as agreed) to September 1990, with the opportunity for extension to June 1991, depending on the availability of further funding. Appointment will be made on the salary scale for lecturers up to LGOS (*36,000*40,400) depending on qualifications and experience.
