Outdoor week-end
Canoeing, caving, abseiling and tramping are some of the activities planned for an outdoor recreation week-end next month. More than 30 instructors from Christchurch outdoor clubs will take part in the weekend, to ,be held at Craigieburn Forest on October 14 and 15. An adviser at the Outdoor Recreation Centre which is organising it, Ms Erica Law, said it was a unique opportunity for people to try a range of outdoor activities without commitment or big expense.
