The New Zealand ice skating team wrested the Tasman Trophy from Australia with a 77-61 points win on the last day of the national Him championships at the Big Apple rink yesterday. The trophy was contested over eight races (four men, four women) with New Zealand prevailing after a consistent team effort. Results: Veteran men 1000 m.— D. Pennington (Australia) 1, 1:57.89; T.
