Third day of show

Furnishing ‘B9, the Christchurch Furnishing Show being hosted by McKenzie and Willis, Ltd, enters its third day today. One of the largest public furniture shows in the city, it gives the public the chance to see a huge range of locally made and imported furnishings and furniture for the home. More than 60 manufacturers and suppliers have filled the entire store, spilling out into a marquee in the carpark behind the building. The firm has emptied the store of all its stock for the show, enabling goods to be displayed in an attractive setting. The show is open to the public until 9 p.m. tonight. A special dispensation has allowed the store to open on Sunday. The hours for Saturday and Sunday are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
