Rugby takes on fragrance
PA Wellington The image of rugby as a toughguy sport could be in danger. A New Zealand pharmaceutical company has released a range of toiletries for players. The Rugby Collection includes items such as Real Hunk Aftershave, Stiff-Arm Deodorant, Head High Shampoo and Pants Down Talc for Men. The North Harbour players, Buck Shelford, Ron Williams, and Frano Botica, were some of the first to try the range. . They have a special interest m the products because the North Harbour coach, Mr Peter Thorbum, and his assistant, Mr Mike Mills, work for the company producing the toiletries. Mr Thorburn, the managing director of PSM Holdings, said he would not put any pressure on his players to use the toiletries. “But from now on I will be handing out Sin Bin Soap to any player who turns up late to training sessions,” he said.
