Luckiest Father’s Day for one dad
PA Invercargill An Invercargill girl, aged 3, gave her dad a Father’s Day present he will never forget when she chose winning numbers in Saturday’s Lotto draw.
This gave the family a first-division win of $802,499. The girl and her cousin picked numbered stones out of a bucket, and then the ticket was bought at an Invercargill dairy. The couple, who have two young daughters, shared the first division pool of $1,604,998 with an Auckland couple who spent Sunday celebrating the win with champagne. The Invercargill couple flew to Wellington to collect their prize money from the commission yesterday.
