PA Wellington A dog with a name like Champion Lebenstraum The Music Man deserves recognition — and got it when it trotted from centre stage with the supreme award in the Tux National Dog Show, at the week-end. Champion Lebenstraum was chosen as top dog from a record 3000 entries in the largest gathering in the show’s 35-year history. better known as a Radio New Zealand show host than a breeder The winner of the reserve section was a Skye terrier, Skyeclan Shake Dicity, owned and bred- in Nelson. A Cavalier King Charles spaniel, Winfem Gala Occasion, took the award for best puppy and a boxer, Denem ActionPacked, won the award for junior dog. The national show secretary, .Ms Brenda Lister, said last evening that entries were 10 per cent up on the previous year.
