Steve Waugh sought
NZPA-AAP London The starring batsman of Australia’s Ashes win, Steve Waugh, could be back in Britain next year playing limited-over cricket in Scotland, according to a report in yesterday’s “Sunday Telegraph.” The Scottish Cricket Union has approached Waugh with an offer to play in all their Benson and Hedges and Nat West games next season. Although S.C.U. officials are refusing to release many details, one official confirmed to the newspaper it was a serious approach to Waugh.
