Neroship and Letterkenny Lad remained the only North Island entrants for the $50,000 D.B. Superstar Four-Year-Old Championship at Addington Raceway on Friday, September 15, when nominations closed yesterday. A total of 23 entries were received for the New Brighton Harness Racing Club’s early
season feature. Other entries are: Bardolino, Pachelbel, Bionic Lord, Unique Blue Chip, Hohneck, Shuttle, Franco Glide, Module’s Gift, Montini Royal, Star Kingdom, Runaway Groom, Franco Trend, Lord Smooth, Kenzo, Inky Lord, Field Commander, Swift Fella, Wychingham Count, Cruise Ship, Defoe and
Vin Ray. Entries for the $25,000 Avon City Ford Cup for C 8 and faster pacers over 2600 m mobile on the first night, Saturday, September 9, are: Sir Alba, Final Offer, Laser Lad, Debbie’s Boy, Wait A Moment, Loveridge, Michele Bromac, Betonim, Frangelico, Gina Rosa, Machismo, Application and Cardinal Star.
The same number have been .nominated for the corresponding race on the second night.
Entries for the $17,500 Imperial Bottle Store Ordeal Cup (mobile 2600 m) for the C 6 and faster trotters on the second night are: Francis Dalrae, Tobago, Tyron Scottie, William Dee, Levrik, Le Due, Zola’s Pride, Midlands Del, Point Away, Highwood, Rebel Time, Troppo, Cracker, Yankee Loch, Flameaway, Lustre Fella, Sundon, Kahuna Pele and Joe Junior.
