Combined rugby trips
For the first time Canterbury will have its two overseas trips in the South Pacific rugby championships combined into one for the 1990 competition. Canterbury will play Fiji in Suva on either April 21 or 22, and will then travel to Sydney to oppose New South Wales on April 25. Canterbury’s full programme is: v. Wellington, Christchurch, April 7 or 8; v. Auckland, Christchurch, April 14 or 15; v. Fiji, Suva, April 21 or 22; v. New South Wales, Sydney, April 25; v. Queensland, May 5 or 6.
