JOINERY FACTORY MANAGER THE COMPANY Our client company is well established and successful in the manufacture and supply of high quality wooden joinery to the greater Christchurch area. Due to continued company growth and expansion, our client is seeking to enlist the services of a qualified Joiner whose primary responsibility will be to oversee the production of a wide range of residential joinery. THE POSITION Reporting to the Director and Financial Controller, the Factory Manager will be responsible for the timely production and quality control of all joinery. To facilitate these functions, the company has installed a computerised Production System to control purchasing, costing and quoting, work in progress, stock control, etc. The Factory Manager will also undertake on-site quotations and measuring when required, production scheduling and tracking, and the supervision of 10 joiners. THE PERSON Due to the seniority of this position, the person we seek will have a number of years experience in the manufacture of wooden joinery and is most likely holding a Managerial/ Supervisory position. Sound knowledge of factory administration procedures is necessary, and exposure to computerised system would be highly favourable.
