Planned changes
PA Wellington The Commerce Commission welcomed many of the administrative changes proposed in the review of the Commerce Act, said the chairman, Dr Susan Lojkine. In particular, increased autonomy would give the commission more control of its own resources and encourage their more effective use.
In particular, it was important that the commission’s enforcement and education roles should not be inhibited.,
