New Zealand won the Henselite Trophy by defeating Australia 40-20 in the eighth indoor bowls international in Adelaide. This is the fourth time in succession that New Zealand has defeated Australia in the world indoor bowls championship. Results.—Women’s singles: New Zealand beat Australia 16-16, 23-17, 14-17, on a count-back. Men’s singles: New Zealand beat Australia 25-12, 16-18, 18-15. Women’s pairs: New Zealand beat Australia 16-33, 20-18, 17-15. Men’s pairs: Australia beat New Zealand 13-27, 21-17, 23-11. Mixed pairs: New Zealand beat Australia 16-22, 16-15, 19-13. Women’s triples: New Zealand beat Australia 22-15, 10-33, 23-15. Men’s triples: New Zealand beat Australia 24-17, 20-19, 23-15. Women’s fours: New Zealand beat Australia 18-17, 30-17, 19-18. Men’s fours: New Zealand beat Australia 19-13, 18-12, 20-20. Mixed fours: Australia beat New Zealand 24-11, 17-15, 15-16.
