Renison closure
Renison Goldfields Consolidated (RGC) said it would close its operations at the Wau gold mine in Papua New Guinea because it was no longer profitable. The Wau mine produced 19,5000 z of gold In 1987-88 and was expected to produce about 28,1000 z last financial year.
