Sport Marsh in squash final
PA Auckland Fifteen-year-old Leilani Marsh, of Hamilton, had a great morale-booster for the world junior squash championships when she reached the final of the national junior event at Matamata yesterday. She beat Helen Nicole — a Scot in New Zealand for the world tournament at the eNd of the month — 9-1, 9-2, 10-8 in one semifinal. In |j|e final today she will
play her New Zealand teammate, top seed Lynora Hati, of Galatea. Hati beat Philippa Beams, of Christchurch, 9-6, 9-6, 5-9, 9-5 to reach the final. The boy’s top seed, Wayne Werder, dropped a game to feUow Hamiltonian Glen Collins, winning his semi-final 96, 5-9, 9-3, 9-2. In the other semi-final, the second seed, Tristan Franklin (Sumner), defeated the third seed, Daniel Sharplin (Hinds), 8-10, 9-6, 9-4, 9-2. L
