Public Notices o Proposed Reclassification of a Portion of Recreation Reserve, Crosbie Park PURSUANT to Section 24 of the Reserves Act 1977 public notice Is hereby given that the Walmalri District Council proposes to make application to the Minister of Lands to have the portion described in the schedule below, of the Recreation Reserve known as Crosbie Park and situated in Apsley Drive reclassified as Local Purpose (Playcentre) Reserve for the following reason: To allow the granting of a lease to the Canterbury Playcentre Association of that area for the purpose of erecting and administering a Playcentre. CHAPPLE District Clerk District Office Fendalton PROPOSED STOPPING OF PORTION OF ROAD STYX MILL ROAD PURSUANT to the provisions of the Local Government Act 1974, public notice Is hereby given that the Walmalri District Council proposes, under the provisions of the abovementioned Act, to stop part of a road, being Styx Mill Road, Christchurch, a legal and formed road, adjoining the land described in the Schedule below and as shown, marked ’A’ on S.O. Plan 18190 and having an area of 2533 square metres so that the land can be disposed of to the adjoining landowners. This area of road is no longer required for the purpose of a road with the realignment of Styx Mill Road. Further notice is hereby given that a plan showing the area of land concerned together with the explanation as to the purpose to which the stopped road will be put Is available for Inspection at the Council Office at the corner of Jeffreys and Clyde Roads, Fendalton, during ordinary office hours.
