Durham water
Petroleum Resources, Ltd, said that logging of the Dur-ham-1 exploration well just north of Stratford in PPL38706 onshore Taranaki had been completed “and indicates the target formation to be water bearing. The drillers are now preparing to plug and abandon the well. Licencees are: Arco Petroleum New Zealand Inc., 29.666 per cent, Petroleum Resources (NZOG) 28.1834, Australia and NZ Petroleum 13.35, Home Oil Company 13.35, Minister of Energy 11, Home Energy (NZ) 4.45.
