ICI offer firm
ICI Australia says its offer for ICI New Zealand is now unconditional after receiving more than 88 per cent of ICI NZ shares. The offer, made through ICI Australia unit, Impkemix Holdings (NZ), was announced on July 6. ICI Australia later raised the offer to 310 c from the original 280 c. ICI Australia is 63 per cent owned by Imperial Chemical Industries.
