Ewe lifted to safety

Firemen were called to lift a pregiiant ewe out of a stormwater drain in North Beach yesterday. Members of the New Brighton Volunteer Brigade took 15 minutes to hoist the sheep, which had been in the Barkers Road ditch for about eight hours.
