Clutha District Council • Executive Management Role We have been asked to assist in the appointment of a Manager — Operations for the new Clutha District Council. Based in Balclutha the position will be responsible for all works and services for the new district which encompasses the townships of Balclutha, Milton, Lawrence, Tapanui and Kaitangata. The position will report directly to the General Manager and be responsible for a number of operational functions throughout the new Council including roads, sewerage, stormwater, land drainage, refuse and removals, forestry, parks and reserves, camping grounds,, workshops, plant and machinery, building maintenance and purchasing. As part of the senior management team the appointee will be required to make effective and meaningful contribution to the executive decision making process and be able to advise the General Manager, Council and its committees on matters affecting the operations portfolio.
