Sparkling showroom
Hobart Food Equipment has opened a showroom in Carmen Road, Hornby. The vast range of cooking equipment for the hospitality industry, hospitals, large institutions and the buchery and bakery markets is displayed in the spacious and attractive premises. All the equipment is ready to work at the flick of a switch.
Hobart food Equipment and Burns and Ferrall were always part of the same company and have now merged. Hobart Food Equipment has been in New Zealand since 1924. Burns and Ferrall, a stainless steel manufacturer, was already located at Hornby. Hobart Food Equipment had premises in Saxon Street, Linwood, but did not have a showroom.
The Hornby premises had plenty of space for
the showroom to be built on. Customers can drive to the door. Burns and Ferrall makes bench work, cooking hoods, stainless steel fascias and stainless steel inserts for kitchen benches.
Much of the cooking equipment is imported. Hobart Food Equipment has the agency for the Canadian brand, Garland. This is very heavy duty cooking equipment. It is possible to choose a combination of cooking options from the 3000 possible functions. Every establishment buying the equipment can buy an applicance exactly suited to their requirements. There is cooking equipment to suit all food outlets from a hamburger bar to a silver, service restaurant.
Features of the cooking equipment are strength,
durability and ease of operation.
Hobart Food Equipment has six branches around New Zealand. Its service includes design, contracts sales and services and a preventative maintenance programme to keep equipment in top condition.
The kitchen designer has more than 30 years experience in the industp'- The company has designed and built large and small kitchens in many places in New Zealand and the Pacific. The designer can take a space and turn it into a working kitchen in consultation with the end user and architect.
Hobart Food Equipment has a service team of technicians. A full range of spare parts is available within 24 hours to reduce inconvencience to a minimum.
