Sir, —My husband and I returned home after a wonderful three-week holiday in New Zealand. We toured, both islands, seeing much of your beautiful country. Part of the beauty of the trip was the kindness of all the Kiwis' we met. Everyone seemed to know we were on holiday (could it be our Ameri.A -
can accent) and wished us well. People willingly answered our many, questions, gave us directions, suggested places to visit, and recommended shops and restaurants. This was always accompanied by a cheerful smile. We are already planning a return trip because the beauty of the country and the charm of the people captivated us. — Yours, etc.,
