Glowing reference for condoms
Condoms that glow in the dark will soon go on sale in Britain. The luminous contraceptive devices are being launched next month by British condom maker Duravend, which plans to export them around the world. They are the brain child of the international film director, Blake Edwards, who asked the firm to invent a glowing condom for his new movie, “Skin Deep.”
According to Duravend’s managing director, Mr Michael Booth, the condoms give off a green glow for at least 60 minutes that is almost bright enough to a read a book by. Last week a team of medical researchers in Edinburgh called for a campaign to make condoms more erotic to ensure prostitutes and their clients use them, to help curb the spread of A.I.D.S.
