N.Z. sailor leads
PA Wellington After six races. New Zealand’s Stuart Bannatyne is leading the one-man boat section of the world youth sailing championships at the Royal St Lawrence Yacht Club in Canada. Dropping his worst performance of eleventh, Bannatyne has finished in the top six positions of the remaining five races and is eight points clear of his nearest rival with a further four races to sail. Ramon Davies and Wayne Kemp are in fourth place over all in the two-man boat competition, 20 points in arrears of the American entrant. The boardsailor, Robert Vernon, is in fourteenth position after seven races.
