Tony Gibson, a chef at Grimsby’s Restaurant, Christchurch, who has won the South Island regional New Zealand Lamb Cuisine Award Gold Plaque Competition. He was selected by assessors dining without his knowledge at the restaurant. Mr Gibson’s winning dish was Rack of Lamb Antony. He will compete against three other regional finalists in Auckland on August 14.
