Newspaper study
By
REGAN
During our study of the newspaper unit Room Five went to the New Zealand room on June 19. Mrs Ann, the librarian, showed us newspapers from 1861 till now. The first newspaper was very old and would crumble if you didn’t handle it with care.
There were also newspapers on micro-film because every paper would take up too much room' and space so they put it on micro-film. They also collect the “Herald.” You can read the micro-film on a screen and can move the paper with the touch of a button.
