Talofa justifies favouritism PA Hamilton Talofa justified his favouritism with an easy win in the Waterloo Cup, feature race at the Auckland Greyhound Racing Club’s meeting at Claudelands, in Hamilton, yesterday. Owned by Mary Knight and Delys Van Meeuwen, Talofa is also trained by the latter, at Glen Eden, giving her 46 training successes this season at Claudelands. Two previous winners also gave Van Meeuwen a treble for the day. After settling fourth in the early run, Talofa took the lead turning for home, running clear to win by three lengths from a kennelmate, Taro Tom, in the good time of 28.47.
