Guidelines issued
PA Wellington The Commerce Commission has moved to reduce the paper work companies are sending it.
The commission has issued guidelines on what companies need to send in when seeking approval for mergers or takeovers.
The issue of the guidelines comes on the day a tenfold increase in fees payable when submitting such proposals to the Commission takes effect.
The guidelines summarise the commission’s view on what constitutes a merger proposal.
