The second Buywise store in New Zealand opened in Lincoln Road this week. It is the second of what management expect will be a number of stores opened in Christchurch and throughout the South Island in the near future. Like the first Buywise in Opawa Road, the Lincoln Road store will aim to provide quality fruit and vegetables and a high level of service at competitive prices. Buywise is owned by an independent private company and is not con-
nected with any of the grocery or fruit and vegetable chains presently in existence. All the products the stores sell are connected with fruit and vegetables, but there is more of interest to be found here than in your average store. Free-flow frozen fruits and vegetables, including crinkle-cut chips, are one innovation which has attracted attention. The ready-made. salad bar is another. There are also dried grains, fruits and juices.
