Mr Graeme Coyle is the new general manager of Motor Lodges of New Zealand. His appointment was announced this month by the company’s chairman, Mr Bob Christie, on behalf of the Board of Directors. Mr Coyle has been involved in the accommodation industrry for the past 27 years. He was integral in the establishment of Flag Inns in New Zealand as executive director New Zealand, and a member of the Australasian Board. He most recently held the position of marketing manager (accommodation) at Hancock & Co. Ltd, a subsidiary of Lion Nathan Ltd. Motor Lodges of New Zealand has 110 properties throughout New Zealand, covering all major provincial areas. Mr Coyle s present restructuring of the company has been designed to increase market share both in the domestic and international marketplaces.
