EADE, The Rev. Malcolm John (born Feildlng, May 12, 1909) — On July 11, 1989, at Ewart Hospital, Wellington (quietly, after a frustrating Illness borne with patience and dignity), adored husband of the late Catharine Anne Harper Eade (nee Gifford), loved and admired father of Patricia and John, father-in-law of Graham Booth, and grandpa of Andrew, Robyn, Philip and Stephen; aged 80 years. A man of God who walked easily with princes and peasants. The Funeral service will be private. All those who might wish to remember and honour him are invited to a memorial service to be held at the Karori Baptist Church, 163 Karori Road, Wellington, on Sunday, July 23, at 2 p.m. EDLIN, Leila Pearl — On July 10, 1989, at Walrau Hospital, dearly loved wife of Ron, Flat 1, 90 Maxwell Road, Blenheim, loved sister-in-law of Nell (Mary) and the late Peter Denny (Christchurch), Colin and the late Thelma Ayers (Rangiora), and a loved and respected aunt of all her nieces and nephews. GALBRAITH, Robert Ellis (Ellis) — On July 11, 1989, at Southland Hospital, Invercargill, dearly loved husband of Ruth Galbraith, of 567 Tweed Street, much loved father and father-in-law of Eric- and Ginny (Dunedin), Ann-Marie and Dave McHattle (London), and the late Lance, loved brother and brother-in-law of Marlon and Garven Eggleston (Christchurch), brother-in-law of Tom and Shirley Ladbrook, Gordon and Carolyn Ladbrook (all of Invercargill), and loved uncle of his nieces and nephews; aged 62 years. In lieu of flowers, donations for the Southland Hospice Appeal may be left at the service.
