Appeal dismissed
PA Wellington An appeal by the connections of Marvin against the horse’s relegation at Awapuni was dismissed by a sub-committee of the Wanganui District committee yesterday. Marvin was relegated to second behind Suzy Harbour in the Awapuni Motor Hotel Handicap on July 17 after a protest by Suzy Harbour’s rider, Noel Harris. Marvin’s connections forfeited their $2OO deposit and were ordered to pay $3OO costs.
