53 P.O.s not sold

PA Wellington Fifty-three of the original 432 post offices not wanted by New Zealand Post have not been sold. On July 1 responsibility for post offices not sold will be passed from the Commerce Ministry to the Lands Department. Of the 53 not sold, 20 are under offer and five leases remain to be reassigned. The 126 post offices sold by the end of last month returned the Government $5.65 million.
