Australia downs Country
The Australian under 17 rugby team beat Canterbury Country under 17, 21-7, in its opening tour match at the Hawarden Domain yesterday.
It scored four tries to one in good winter conditions before a big crowd. Australia goes on to Dunedin today and plays Otago, Southland an<j_ the
Hannen Shield Districts before returning to Christchurch for a test against New Zealand under 17 at Lancaster Park on July 8.
