Masters Bowls tournament at Worthing while New Zealand’s Peter Beiliss and Rowan Brassey battle it out for the minor placings.
Beiliss won both his matches on Saturday but he could finish no higher than fifth in his group and meets' England's John Bell in a playoff for -ninth place. The world pairs champion from Wanganui scored a 2520 win over the 1983 Masters champion, George Souza, of Hong Kong, and then beat Ireland's 1984' world triples gold medallist, Stan Espie, 2521.
Beiliss finished with four wins from seven games.
