Woman raped in car-park
A woman was raped in a St Asaph Street car-park last evening, the police said.
Detective Sergeant Ray Homan, of the C. 1.8., said the woman, aged 33, had left the King George Hotel and was walking down St Asaph Street when she was approached by a man who grabbed her and pushed her into the parking area, where he raped her. After the man left, the woman went to
a nearby friend’s house and called the police. The incident happened between 8.30 p.m. and 9 p.m. The police are looking for a male European in his 30s, with red hair and a beard and wearing jeans and a black Tshirt.
They would like to hear from members of the public who may have seen anything.
