Ski pass sales
Mount Hutt introduced the concept of “remote ski passes” last year with considerable success and they will be available off the mountain again this season.
Last year about $750,000 of lift tickets were sold off the field.
The advantages of prepurchasing your lift passes include the saving of $3 a pass, the saving of time on the mountain, avoiding any queues and the fact that they can be used any day, or any year.
Those whose purse-
strings have been stretched by buying new boots, skis or jackets can buy tickets as they can afford them — for example, buying one a week and saving them up for the school holidays.
in 1989 these tickets will only be available from selected Shell service stations and ski or sports shops.
