Wind
By
Claire Stewart
Halswell School I stood by trees while there Was a swift breeze, It got stronger and stronger Making me sneeze. The wind was making the trees sway This way and that. Then all of a sudden Off blew my hat. I stumbled and ran to get away. And sheltered under a big gum tree. The wind got so strong it knocked down My tree and I thought It might fall on me. But off I ran to my home, To leave the wind to play alone.
