PA Auckland The Minister of Trade, Mr Moore, says the Government will have an America’s Cup office in Auckland within weeks if the New York Supreme Court awards the Cup to New Zealand. Mr Moore said he intended the Government’s profile to be low if the

billion-dollar regatta is staged in Auckland. But a specialised division would ensure that planning and development kept pace with the tight schedule. He said the Cabinet would consider special legislation for the international sporting bonanza and fast-track planning.
