Miners to strike
PA Greymouth Coalcorp and the Miners’ Union are heading towards a big confrontation following 14 days notice of intention to strike filed by the Strongman coalminers yesterday. The 30 . Strongman miners are working to rule with no work on Fridays and an overtime ban. Their notice follows similar moves at Coalcorp mines throughout the country following the breakdown in award talks.
