Financial maths
Victoria University of Wellington is now offering a course leading to a diploma in financial mathematics. Mr Leigh Roberts, an Australian with a background in both the business and academic worlds, has been appointed senior lecturer in financial mathematics. The actuarial content of the diploma is expected to be of particular relevance to the insurance industry.
