Club to hold auction

The Christchurch Amiga Users Group will hold an auction open to all computer equipment at its June meeting, on Wednesday, June 14. The meeting will be the first held at the club's new venue, the hall at Shirley Boys’ High School. The club meeting will begin at 7.30. and will begin with the sale. But those who wish to sell equipment should be at the hall at 6 p.m. that day. The computer showplanned by the club at the Addington Showgrounds has been postponed, partly because of the takeover of Commodore New Zealand by the American parent firm. Mr Greg Evans, the president, says the club hopes to stage the show towards the end of the year.
