Mr Gavin Bishop, an author and illustrator of children’s books, with a picture he drew for a book based on the nursery rhyme, “Mother Hubbard.” The picture is part of an exhibition of Mr Bishop’s work at the Children’s Bookshop, Christchurch. Mr Bishop, who is the head of the art department at Christ’s College, has worked on eight books for children since 1981. The exhibition will run for about five weeks.
