Order made for passports

Two men facing drug charges were ordered to surrender their passports to the police as a condition of being granted bail.

CHARGES DENIED Charges of cultivating cannabis, possessing the drug for sale or supply, and possessing utensils for use in the commission of an offence against the Misuse of Drugs Act, were denied by a man, aged 34. Robert John Spicer, a solo parent (Mr Philip Hall), is charged with committing the offences on May 10. He was remanded to June 20 for a defended hearing. (BEFORE JUDGE FRAMPTON) COMMUNITY SERVICE A young man who cannibalised a neighbour’s Land Rover to get parts for his own was sentenced to carry out 150 hours of community service.
